Alluri: The heavy downpour in Alluri Seetharamaraju district has resulted in a significant rise in water levels, causing rivers and streams to overflow. In a reported incident, a bike was swept away by the strong current in the Biriguda region of Munchangiputta Mandal. In the video, the bike was carried away when an individual attempted to cross a stream while carrying the vehicle on their shoulder. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during this incident. Swift action by local residents facilitated the prompt recovery of the bike from the water. In a separate incident, another motorcyclist had a narrow escape as they came perilously close to falling into the water while riding their two-wheeler. The motorcyclist lost balance, and the bike was swept away by the forceful stream. The locals managed to retrieve the bike from the stream.
