Telangana ministers have vehemently criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit to Warangal, alleging that his government has let down the state. The laying of the foundation stone for a wagon repair shop was singled out by Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) as an affront to the people of Telangana, given that the Bifurcation Act had promised a railway coach factory at Kazipet. KTR drew a stark comparison between the allocation of a Rs 20,000 crore locomotive factory in Gujarat and a Rs 520 crore wagon repair shop in Telangana, terming the latter's project as outrageous. "Can't the Centre conduct an inquiry and prove that there is corruption in Kaleswaram for the last three years?" challenged Minister Prashanth Reddy, adding that there was no need to fear Modi's purported arrogance.
