On July 8th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated an array of development projects in Warangal, Telangana, and used the occasion to level severe allegations of corruption against the state's Chief Minister, K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR). During his speech, PM Modi lambasted the Telangana government, accusing it of four primary wrongdoings. He stated, "The Telangana government's modus operandi revolves around four key actions: Firstly, consistently criticizing me and the central government. Secondly, centralizing power within a single family. Thirdly, stifling Telangana's economic growth. And finally, drowning the state in a sea of corruption." Modi further claimed that every development project in Telangana was tarnished by allegations of corruption. He pulled no punches in his critique, labeling the KCR administration as "the most corrupt government". The Prime Minister ended his critique with a severe indictment, claiming that "the KCR government's network of corruption has extended its reach to Delhi.
