Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Chief A Revanth Reddy has challenged the central government to disclose the true investors behind the Dharani-Integrated Land Records Management System. He dared Union Tourism Minister and BJP Telangana unit president G Kishan Reddy to take the lead in revealing this information. Revanth Reddy announced that he would release a series called 'Dharani Files' after July 15, 2023, focusing on illegal transactions that occurred under the guise of the Dharani system in the state. Revanth Reddy explained that the Dharani land scam involved culprits exploiting weaknesses in the system to fraudulently register government lands, which were originally blacklisted, in other individuals' names. He cited instances of failed attempts to sell endowment lands to a pharmaceutical company. He emphasized that if Congress came to power in the state, they would replace Dharani with a superior, technologically advanced portal and conduct thorough investigations to ensure justice for the common people.
