Tirupati: In Tirumala, a devotee named Narendra had a narrow escape from a dangerous situation when he attempted to jump off the Gogarbham Dam. Narendra, known to have a smoking habit, found himself without cigarettes for two days. This situation drove him to make a drastic decision. Out of desperation, he went to the Gogarbham Dam with the intention to end his own life by jumping into the water. Upon noticing Narendra's actions, the TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) Vigilance staff quickly intervened. They managed to provide counselling to Narendra, thus averting a potential tragedy. Following the counselling session, they safely handed him over to his family members.
