Hyderabad: YSRCP rebel MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju suggested that early state assembly elections are on the horizon in Andhra Pradesh. He indicated that this issue was a point of discussion between Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his recent visit to Delhi. Krishna Raju revealed this information in a video released to the media on Wednesday. Krishna Raju, currently on a visit to the United States, claimed, "Chief Minister Jagan's attempts to join the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) have been unsuccessful. However, it appears that senior party members are gearing up for assembly elections alongside Telangana." He further accused fellow YSRCP MP Mithun Reddy of attempting to mislead the opposition regarding these developments, stating, "They themselves announced not to believe in the leaks they provided to the TV channels." In a call to opposition parties, Krishna Raju stated, "Given the current claims of early elections, we should certainly believe it to be a possibility.
