Siddipet: A clash between two groups in Gajwel town of Telangana's Siddipet district has sparked tension. The incident unfolded when a man, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, was allegedly assaulted for urinating near a Shivaji statue. Shockingly, he was later paraded naked by the group. The altercation escalated into a clash between groups from different communities, resulting in one person sustaining injuries. The police intervened and assured the protesters of swift action against the culprits. In response, several organizations called for a shutdown in Gajwel, demanding justice for the victim and punishment for those responsible. Notably, Gajwel is the constituency represented by Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Amidst the outrage, Amjedullah Khan Khalid, a leader from Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT), accused the local police of being mere spectators during the incident. He urged the Director General of Police and Siddipet Commissioner to launch an inquiry while advocating for enhanced security for the minority community.
