In a major boost to healthcare services, the Government of Telangana is prioritizing the health sector with significant upgrades across district hospitals. Besides bolstering existing facilities, the government has also taken steps to increase the number of expert doctors to cater to the rising number of patients seeking treatment in government hospitals. In line with this commitment, the Telangana Diagnostics (T-Diagnostics) services have been initiated, offering free diagnostic tests to all patients visiting government hospitals. The popularity of this service has led the Chief Minister to call for its further expansion. In accordance with this directive, T-Diagnostics has significantly expanded its offering from 57 to 134 diagnostic tests, effective from July 1. These newly added tests, which could cost anywhere between Rs 500 and Rs 10,000 if conducted in private labs, will be available
