The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at the Centre faced strong criticism from KT Rama Rao(KTR), the Working President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the IT Minister. KTR expressed his disappointment with the Centre's failure to fulfill its promises to the state of Telangana, calling for an immediate apology from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the people of Telangana. As Prime Minister Modi prepares to visit Kazipet on July 8 for the inauguration of the wagon workshop for periodic overhauling, KTR urged the citizens to seize the opportunity and hold the Prime Minister accountable for the unfulfilled commitments. KTR highlighted the unmet promises mentioned in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, such as the establishment of the Kazipet Coach Factory, Tribal University, and Bayyaram Steel Plant. He emphasized that it was essential for the Prime Minister to address these concerns and apologize to the people of Telangana for the Centre's failure to fulfill its commitments.
