In a near-miss incident, the Vande Bharat Express, currently undergoing trial runs from Patna to Ranchi, narrowly avoided a collision with a cow near Barnakna station. The vigilant loco pilot noticed the cow on the track and promptly applied the brakes, bringing the train to a halt. Following the incident, the train's staff promptly ensured the cow was safely moved aside from the tracks. This mishap occurred just ahead of the much-anticipated inauguration of the Vande Bharat Express. Recently, the damages to the front of multiple Vande Bharat trains caused by collisions with cattle have sparked a debate.
