In a pointed rebuke to BJP National President JP Nadda, Telangana Minister KTR questioned the motives behind his recent visit and his criticism of Chief Minister KCR's numerous welfare initiatives. These initiatives, such as the Kalyanalakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak, and KCR kits, have been strategically deployed by the state government to aid the less fortunate. "Are we to be penalized for development and poverty alleviation? Is this a cause for planning to send CM KCR to jail?" KTR queried, referring to Nadda's remarks, and lambasting the Central government for questioning Telangana's progress. The minister contended that the Opposition's allegations against KCR were unfounded and misplaced. He expressed these views while inaugurating a skywalk in Uppal, Hyderabad, a significant step forward in enhancing pedestrian convenience in the city.
