Uppal junction's eagerly awaited skywalk was officially opened on Monday, June 26th for public access. Minister for Municipal Administration & Urban Development, K.T. Rama Rao opened it. The skywalk is situated strategically at one of the most heavily trafficked junctions in town and offers much-needed relief for pedestrians attempting to traverse this crowded area. The skywalk and a multipurpose convention center at mini shilparamam near Uppal Bagayat layout were both inaugurated by the Minister on that day. This strengthens the existing amenities and infrastructure available nearby. As proof of their commitment to building up Hyderabad along with its outskirts, HMDA constructed Uppal Skywalk stands tall. This skywalk aims at meeting approximately 20k individual's daily needs that travel across either side of Uppal by catering towards them while also being able to serve society as a whole over one hundred years.
