In an unexpected move, KTR, the IT Minister of Telangana, has embarked on a trip to New Delhi to meet with high-ranking ministers, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The visit, which came to light on Thursday evening, was kept under wraps as KTR set up appointments with various ministers. His stay in the national capital is expected to span three days. This sudden development has sparked speculation as neither Chief Minister KCR nor KTR has previously visited Delhi for such meetings with central ministers. KTR, in particular, has gained attention in the past for his criticism of national BJP leaders on social media during their visits to Hyderabad. Some political observers suggest that KCR may be attempting to exploit the perceived lack of central government support to strengthen his position in the forthcoming elections. In response, the BJP has faulted KCR and his ministers for failing to adequately represent the interests of Telangana at the central level.
