Minister Gudiwada Amarnath has recently responded to comments made by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao regarding land value in their respective states. At a public event in Achyutapuram, a town in the Anakapalli district of Andhra Pradesh (AP), Amarnath claimed that the land value in AP is significantly higher than in Telangana. He argued that if an acre of land is sold in AP's Achyutapuram , it could fetch enough to purchase 150 acres in Telangana. The AP Minister was responding to previous remarks made by Chief Minister Rao, known as KCR, concerning land development in the two states. Amarnath refuted KCR's suggestions, asserting that all areas in AP are seeing significant development, as opposed to Telangana, where he claimed that only the city of Hyderabad has shown substantial growth. Amarnath further accused KCR of unjustly defaming neighbouring states in a bid to gain political advantage in the upcoming elections.
