Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Chairman, YV Subba Reddy, has responded to the corruption allegations being levied against the Srivani Trust. He asserted that those involved in TTD would have to fear if any sort of corruption were to take place. He accuses that political leaders are making baseless allegations against the Trust for their political gains, and released a white paper to counter these accusations. According to YV Subba Reddy, the Srivani Trust has generated an income of INR 861 crores as of May 31 this year. He clarified that all the transactions were made through banks. He mentioned that the Trust was established in 2018 and was revamped after the YSRCP came into power in 2019. YV Subba Reddy also revealed that INR 120.24 crores were spent on the construction and renovation of temples.
