In a heart-stopping incident, a five-year-old boy had a harrowing encounter on Thursday night as he narrowly escaped a terrifying leopard attack near the 7th mile along the Alipiri-Tirumala pedestrian route. The quick actions of local vendors, TTD vigilance and security guards, along with trekking devotees, played a crucial role in rescuing the child and driving away the fierce predator. According to sources, the boy identified as Kaushik, a native of Adoni, the boy was snatched by the leopard and dragged into the dense Seshachalam forest area. However, the vigilant vendors and guards wasted no time, immediately raising the alarm and rushing to the child's aid. They bravely pursued the leopard, pelting stones to create a diversion and force it to release its grip on the boy. Miraculously, the child was successfully rescued.
