Rajasthan: In response to a violent brawl that transpired at a restaurant along the Jaipur-Ajmer highway, the Rajasthan government has suspended an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer and an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer. The incident, involving restaurant workers, unfolded in the early hours of Monday, resulting in the suspension of four additional individuals. The state government took swift action after CCTV footage capturing the altercation went viral. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was informed of the matter and promptly addressed the situation. The footage revealed a distressing scene of individuals exchanging blows and hurling stones at one another. The Ajmer Development Authority Commissioner, Giridhar, and IPS officer Sushil Kumar Bishnoi have been identified as the two suspended officers. Their involvement in the incident led to their immediate suspension pending further investigation.
