Airport officials swiftly responded to the emergency, ensuring the safety of passengers and staff. Upon receiving reports of the fire, three fire engines were immediately dispatched to the scene, working tirelessly to extinguish the flames. Fortunately, there have been no reported casualties as a result of the incident. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) stated that the fire originated at the D Portal check-in counter, triggering the evacuation of passengers and staff due to the presence of smoke. The prompt evacuation measures helped prevent any harm to individuals present. Authorities confirmed that the incident did not cause significant damage, and all passengers are accounted for and safe.
