Odisha: In a horrifying incident, a passenger train collided with a goods train near Bahanaga railway station in the Balasore district and several were injured severely. According to the sources, the Coromandel Express collided with a halted goods train and five bogies derailed. It is learnt that at least 50 passengers were injured severely and were immediately shifted to the hospitals. Local authorities swiftly initiated search and rescue operations, dispatching teams to the accident site. Upon learning of the incident, the Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik, took immediate action and directed State Minister Pramila Mallik and the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) to rush to the accident site to assess the situation and provide necessary assistance. The Additional Chief Secretary & Development Commissioner of Odisha, along with senior officers Hemant Sharma, Balwant Singh, and Arvind Agarwal, have been deployed to supervise the arrangements and coordinate rescue efforts at the Bahanaga accident site. To ensure prompt medical attention, all hospitals and
