Addressing the media, she expressed her distress over a girl being assaulted and subsequently becoming the target of a filed case, which has caused her to repeatedly visit police stations. Akhila Priya expressed her disbelief, stating that she has never encountered or witnessed such a cultural phenomenon before. She raised concerns about the present situation of women in the region, highlighting that not only was a case filed against her, but multiple attempts were made to initiate legal action against her. Furthermore, Akhila Priya urged caution to the women residing in the households of those who lodged the cases against her. It is worth noting that Bhuma Akhila Priya was granted conditional bail by the court and subsequently visited the Nandyala police station to fulfill the required formalities, signing her presence.
