In a recent development concerning the withdrawal of Rs 2,000 currency notes, the State Bank of India (SBI) has provided a clarification regarding the exchange process for these notes. Through a circular issued on Saturday, the SBI has announced new guidelines for exchanging Rs 2,000 currency notes. According to the circular, individuals seeking to exchange their Rs 2,000 currency notes can do so without the need to fill out requisition forms, as long as the amount being exchanged does not exceed Rs 20,000 at a time.
