Hyderabad: YS Sharmila, the chief of YSRTP addressed the media to address the circulating rumours about the merging of her party with the Congress. Sharmila categorically denied these speculations and questioned the need behind merging her party with any other political entity. She confidently stated that no party would refuse her if she expressed a desire to join them. During the media interaction, Sharmila also responded to a reporter's query about forming alliances for specific seats. She cited a survey report conducted by a national organization, which highlighted YSRTP's robust presence in 43 constituencies across Telangana and further questioned what is the need for her for forming alliances for 10, 20, or 30 seats. She emphasized that YSRTP stands alone as the sole party in Telangana actively engaged in struggles and movements concerning public issues.
