Pakistan's Supreme Court has ruled that the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan was "illegal" and ordered his immediate release. The decision was made after Khan was brought before a three-member bench following an order to produce him. The Supreme Court bench, which included Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Athar Minallah, expressed their disapproval of the manner in which Imran Khan was arrested from the premises of the Islamabad High Court. The case involved Imran Khan's alleged involvement with the Al-Qadir Trust.
