The trailer for the much-awaited multilingual period saga, 'Adipurush', starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, was leaked online just hours before its planned official launch at 1:53 pm on May 9. The film, which celebrates "the victory of good over evil," is an on-screen adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayana. 'Adipurush' features an ensemble cast, including Prabhas as Raghav, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Sunny Singh as Shesh, and Devdatta Nage as Bajrang. Directed by Om Raut, the film also stars Saif Ali Khan, who plays the role of the antagonist, Lankesh. Initially scheduled to hit cinema halls on August 11, 2022, the release date for 'Adipurush' was postponed to January 12, 2023. However, the film is now slated to grace the screens in 3D on June 16, 2023.
