Karnataka: The Chief of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), Asaduddin Owaisi, has claimed that he is on the hit list of the terrorist organization ISIS. Speaking to the media, Owaisi said that the group had already announced its intentions to kill him, but he was not afraid of their threats. Asaduddin Owaisi, who is known for his controversial statements, also used the opportunity to criticize Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He accused the Prime Minister of neglecting the ongoing violence in Manipur and instead engaging in a "road show" in Bengaluru. According to Owaisi, Modi was in the city to promote a movie, while civil work was being carried out in Manipur. The AIMIM Chief made these comments during an open meeting in Bangalore, which was part of his campaign for the upcoming Karnataka elections. During the meeting, Asaduddin Owaisi criticized the two-day mega rally held by Modi in Bengaluru as part of his own election campaign.
