Tirumala: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) in Tirupati was thrown into a state of chaos after an anonymous email was received alleging the presence of terrorists at the famous shrine. The email sparked fears among devotees, but the police have confirmed that it was a hoax by some hooligans. Tirupati SP Parameshwar Reddy addressed the media and reassured the public that there was no movement of terrorists in Tirumala. He added that an inquiry is underway to determine the origin and sender of the email. The TTD and police have conducted inspections in Tirumala as a precautionary measure. The SP urged devotees not to believe false propaganda and assured them that there is no high alert in Tirumala.
