Telangana minister Malla Reddy has stirred controversy with his recent remarks claiming that Telangana Chief Minister KCR will complete the construction of the Polavaram project in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking at a May Day celebration in Hyderabad, the minister alleged that caste politics is being played in Andhra and leaders of certain castes are more concerned with their own political gain than the welfare of the people. He also claimed that KCR is the only leader capable of building the Polavaram project and protecting Visakhapatnam steel. Malla Reddy claimed that in Maharashtra, lakhs of people are supporting the BRS. The minister further claimed that in other states as well, the BRS party will show its mark.
