Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president, N Chandrababu Naidu, hosted a tea party for superstar Rajinikanth and NTR's family members at his residence in Undavalli. The event took place during Rajinikanth's visit to Vijayawada to attend NTR's centenary celebrations at Anumolu Gardens in Poranki. Chandrababu Naidu had invited Rajinikanth to his residence during his visit to Andhra Pradesh, and NTR's family members had already arrived before the superstar. Rajinikanth was given a warm welcome by the TDP Chief upon his arrival. Other attendees at the tea party included actor Balakrishna, TD Janardhan and others. Rajinikanth was also in the state to be the chief guest at the launch of books on NTR's historical speeches. Balakrishna welcomed the superstar at Gannavaram airport in the morning.
