Tragedy struck in Maharashtra's Chandrapur district as a labourer lost his life after being struck by lightning. The incident, which was captured on CCTV, has gone viral on social media. The victim, identified as Babudhan Yadav, was walking in an open area after completing his duty at the Majri coal mine in Bhadravati taluka when a sudden bolt of lightning struck him. Thousands of watts of electricity surged through his body, causing him to collapse and lose his life instantly. Yadav, originally from Bihar, was working as a labourer in the coal mine at the time of the incident. The authorities have confirmed the cause of death to be lightning strike.
