The recent visit of Union Home Minister and top BJP leader Amit Shah to Telangana has once again sparked political reactions from his opponents. During his public meeting in Chevella on Sunday, Shah criticized both BRS and KCR. In his address, the Home Minister criticized KCR's government for encouraging Muslim reservation, stating that it would be ended after the BJP comes to power in Telangana as it is allegedly unconstitutional. Shah further added that the state's SCs, STs, and OBCs deserve the reservation and would get justice after the BJP forms the government. In response, Minister KTR, without mentioning Shah's name, referred to him as a "political tourist" and questioned the development of BJP in the center for the past nine years. He also asked BJP cadres to name a state that could compare with Telangana in terms of development.
