Hyderabad: In response to the surge of Covid cases worldwide, the Telangana government has announced its decision to provide booster doses of the 'Carbo vaccine' to the public. The initiative is set to begin today. It is learnt that five lakh doses are ready for immediate administration. Public Health Director Srinivasa Rao has stated that individuals who have received either Covaxin or Covishield as their first two doses of the vaccine will be eligible for the booster dose. Amid increasing Covid cases, the centre alerted all the state governments and asked them to follow preventive measures.
