The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) postponed the questioning of Kadapa MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy in the Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy murder case until Tuesday afternoon, as his anticipatory bail petition was being heard by the Telangana High Court. Originally, the CBI had instructed Avinash Reddy to appear before their regional office at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, but the High Court suggested postponing the hearing due to ongoing arguments presented by Avinash Reddy's legal team, the CBI, and Vivekananda Reddy's daughter Suneetha Reddy, who has filed an implead petition in the case. Avinash Reddy's counsel pleaded with the court to prevent the CBI from arresting him, while the CBI submitted that they have evidence of Rs 40 crore in the murder conspiracy case. The CBI's lawyer urged the court to deny anticipatory bail to Avinash Reddy, stating that they will arrest him if necessary.
