Arjun Tendulkar, the 23-year-old left-arm fast bowler and son of legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, made his debut for Mumbai Indians in their crucial Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Rohit Sharma handed Arjun the MI cap as he replaced Arshad Khan in the playing XI. Arjun was bought by MI in the IPL 2022 auction at his base price of Rs 30 lakh and was retained for the IPL 2023 after being first bought by MI at the IPL 2021 auction at his base price of Rs 20 lakh.
