Telangana Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) President K. Chandrasekhar Rao expressed confidence in coming to power in the 2024 elections at a public meeting in Hyderabad after unveiling a statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. KCR claimed that the BRS is receiving an overwhelming response in Maharashtra and expects similar results in other regions like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Bengal. He reiterated his commitment to following in the footsteps of Babasaheb Ambedkar and fighting until the last drop of his blood to keep the country on track. KCR promised to implement the Dalit Bandhu scheme across the country, benefiting 25 lakh Dalit families every year if he forms the government, and announced that the state government would allocate Rs 3 crore annually to give awards in the name of Ambedkar to individuals who make valuable contributions in various fields at the national and state levels.
