Telangana's Finance Minister T Harish Rao has urged individuals from Andhra Pradesh who have settled in Telangana to register themselves as voters in Telangana. He suggested that those who have already registered to vote in Andhra Pradesh cancel their registration and register in Telangana instead. Speaking to migrant workers from other states, Harish Rao assured them that the Telangana government is committed to the welfare of all migrant workers. He highlighted the differences in development between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, citing the poor condition of roads, hospitals, and other infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh. The Minister encouraged migrant workers to consider Telangana their home and to support its progress by registering to vote in the state.
