Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) party's high command has suspended former MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and former minister Jupalli Krishna Rao for engaging in anti-party activities by criticizing Telangana Chief Minister KCR and the BRS government. It is learnt that the suspension follows a meeting held by Ponguleti Srinivas and Jupalli in Kothagudem where Ponguleti accused KCR of pursuing selfish political interests and forgetting the role of people, Congress, and BJP parties in achieving Telangana statehood. Jupalli also criticized the government for allegedly looting thousands of crores of rupees through irrigation water tenders. These statements drew the ire of KCR, who took action against the two leaders.
