The recent visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Telangana has caused a stir amongst the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders. According to state finance minister T Harish Rao, the Prime Minister's comments were not only false but also intended to incite conflict. Rao accused Modi of intentionally trying to "spill poison" during his visit, rather than focusing on the development projects that were supposed to be the purpose of his trip. This sentiment was echoed by other BRS leaders and ministers, who were equally critical of the Prime Minister's statements. Furthermore, Harish Rao strongly disagreed with Modi's claims that the state government was not cooperating with central projects. In fact, he argued that the opposite was true, with the central government failing to provide support for several key initiatives in the state. As Harish Rao rightly pointed out, Telangana has been waiting for sanctioning of a tribal university, railway coach factory, Bayyaram steel industry, medical colleges, and nursing colleges.
