TSRTC Bus Collides with Two-Wheeler in Suryapet; Biker Dies
On Thursday, a TSRTC bus travelling from Hyderabad to Vijayawada collided with a two-wheeler in Telangana's Suryapet district. The 'Rajdhani' bus, operated by the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), was en route to Vijayawada when it struck a motorbike near Indira Nagar in Munagala mandal of Suryapet district.
Tragically, the bike became wedged underneath the bus and caught fire, which quickly spread to the vehicle. In a state of panic, passengers disembarked from the bus as the flames quickly consumed it. Fortunately, a fire engine arrived promptly and was able to extinguish the blaze.
Regrettably, the rider of the motorbike, Murugesh Raju, aged 48, sustained critical injuries and passed away while being transported to a hospital in Suryapet.
