Fire breaks out during Sri Ram Navami celebrations in Tanuku temple

Tanuku: On Thursday evening, during the Sri Ram Navami celebrations at the Venugopala Swamy Temple in Tanuku Mandal of West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, a fire broke out, causing a massive blaze. According to the sources, the fire started after firecrackers fell on the canopies of 'pandiri' that were erected for the devotees in the temple. The fire quickly spread, engulfing the entire temple, and causing a stir in the area.

The local police and temple authorities immediately rushed to the scene to conduct rescue operations, and fire tenders were called in to control the flames. Fortunately, there have been no casualties reported, but some people have suffered minor injuries. The extent of the damage caused by the fire is yet to be ascertained.
