Balakrishna Speech at TDP Avirbhava Sabha In Hyderabad
During the formation day meeting of TDP, Hindupuram MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna delivered a speech that left the audience in awe. He paid tribute to his father and TDP founder NTR, crediting him with keeping the bhakti rasa alive in his films and reflecting the culture and traditions of India. He said, NTR's versatility was unmatched, whether he acted in mythology or folklore, every character was filled with atoms and acted to perfection.
According to Balakrishna, NTR's legacy was one of governance and social reforms. He introduced reservation for SCs, STs, and women in local elections, and brought in gurukul education and welfare hostels. NTR's contributions did not end there, as he abolished the patwari system and ensured that the homeless had access to pucca houses.
Praising the current TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu, Balakrishna highlighted his dedication to the youth of the state. Through his efforts, Genome Valley and biotechnology park were established, and the Nalsar University was set up. Additionally, 28 flyovers were constructed, providing travel facilities to lakhs of people through MMTS. Farmers also benefitted from agricultural electricity connections on a large scale.
Balakrishna urged the people to take a pledge for their future, citing the TDP's recent victory in the MLC elections as evidence of the party's commitment to the people. Balakrishna claimed, NTR may no longer be with us, but his legacy lives on through the TDP and its leaders who are dedicated to bringing about positive change in the lives of the people.
