Telangana Congress Urges Governor to Dissolve TSPSC and Investigate KTR

On Wednesday, a group of Telangana Congress leaders led by the party’s chief, A Revanth Reddy, met with the state Governor, Tamilisai Soundararajan. They urged her to investigate the alleged involvement of state IT minister, KT Rama Rao (KTR), in the TSPSC paper leak case, given that the accused who were arrested belonged to the IT department. Following the meeting, Revanth Reddy held a press conference where he reiterated their request for the TSPSC to be dissolved until the investigation is complete.

Revanth Reddy also accused the Minister of attempting to conceal facts and mislead the investigation by claiming that only two individuals, Pulidindi Praveen Kumar and Atla Rajasekhara Reddy, were responsible for the leak. The leak eroded the trust of the youth in a public institution and cast doubt on the legitimacy of TSPSC's selections thus far. The party submitted a memorandum to the Governor on this matter. Revanth Reddy also stated that the Governor has the authority to dissolve the TSPSC until the investigation is complete.
