The custody of Arun Ramachandra Pillai, the accused in the Delhi liquor scam case, has been extended for another three days by Delhi's Rouse Avenue court. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had filed a petition in the court to extend Pillai's custody, and he has been sent to ED custody till March 16. During the investigation, the ED made crucial comments against Pillai, and BRS MLC alleged that he had retracted his statement after giving notice to Kavitha in the Delhi liquor case. There is said to be evidence of CCTV footage regarding Pillai's statement. Furthermore, the ED has ordered BRS MLC Kavitha, who has already faced trial in the Delhi liquor scam case, to appear for trial again on March 16. On March 15, the ED will interrogate Kavitha's former auditor Buchibabu in the same case. The case continues to unfold as authorities work to uncover the truth behind the Delhi liquor scam.
