After concluding a six-hour strike in support of the Women's Reservation Bill, BRS MLC K Kavitha stated that she plans to approach the President of India in the upcoming parliament sessions to advocate for the passage of the Bill. Kavitha reported that signatures from various political parties and organizations were collected in support of the Bill. "We will present the signatures collected in support of the Bill to the President. I implore the Madam President to take up this issue," Kavitha said. She also indicated that they had written a letter to PM Modi, and if he desired, he could take affirmative measures. According to Kavitha, the Women's Reservation Bill is not only an issue for one person or one state; it is an issue that affects the entire country.
