SS Rajamouli, the renowned filmmaker behind the Telugu period action epic RRR, expressed his gratitude to the people of Ukraine for their tremendous contribution to the creation of the iconic song, Naatu Naatu. The song, composed by MM Keeravani, has been nominated for the Best Original Song Award at the forthcoming Oscars. Originally, the team had planned to shoot the song in India. However, due to the monsoon season, they had to search for alternative locations, and they ultimately chose the Presidential Palace of Kyiv. Rajamouli acknowledged that the location itself was the first thing that came to his mind when he thought about Naatu Naatu.
