Viral leave application: Inspector seeks 10-day leave to pacify wife's anger

Uttar Pradesh: An inspector of the Police and Special Investigation Cell in Farukabad, Uttar Pradesh has made headlines for his unusual leave application. The inspector wrote a letter to the Superintendent of Police, Ashok Kumar Meena, explaining that his wife had been angry with him for not being able to take her to her maternal home during Holi for the past 22 years due to work commitments.

He requested 10 days of leave to pacify his wife's anger. The letter has since gone viral on social media, with many applauding the inspector's dedication to his family. The Superintendent of Police granted him five days of leave.
