The Telangana government has launched a new initiative to provide CPR training programs at the GVK-Emergency Management and Research Institute (EMRI) in Medchal. The event, which took place on Wednesday, was attended by several senior officials including IT Minister K T Rama Rao, MA&UD Secretary Arvind Kumar, Health Minister T Harish Rao, and Minister of Labour and Employment Malla Reddy. During the event, Minister KTR addressed the audience and highlighted the importance of physical activity in preventing diseases. He also emphasized the need to address the rising instances of young people in Hyderabad collapsing and passing away, while others watch helplessly. KTR noted that heart attacks are becoming increasingly common and that the CPR training program aims to save lives.
