FM Sitharaman wins hearts with Indian hospitality at G20 meet
The Union Budget 2023 presenter, Nirmala Sitharaman, continues to make headlines as she attends the first G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) meeting under the G20 India Presidency. During the lunch break, the Finance Minister won hearts across the country for her humble gesture of looking after the delegates. In an Instagram post by her office, a picture shows Sitharaman attending to guests by going over each table during the lunch break.
The 63-year-old economist interacted with the delegates who are in Bengaluru to attend the meeting. The pictures show Sitharaman standing next to tables and interacting with delegates who are served Indian thalis, a plate full of different delicacies. Her gesture of Indian hospitality has been appreciated and admired by many.
