Uttar Pradesh: In a shocking incident, a man in Uttar Pradesh found himself trapped in a metal cage, typically used for trapping leopards, in what is being reported as a rare incident. The incident occurred in Basendua village in Bulandshahr district, after the man fell for a rooster that was placed as bait in the cage. According to the Forest Department, the man approached the cage to catch the rooster, but once he stepped out of the cage, it was shut immediately, leaving him stuck inside. The man was later rescued by forest officers after seeking their help. The cage was set up by the department to trap a wandering leopard that had been spotted in the area.
