During the ongoing Delhi Test match between India and Australia on February 19, Virat scored eight runs, taking his total international run tally to 25,000 in 549 innings. Having scored 44 runs during the first innings on February 18, Virat Kohli made eight more runs during the second innings, reaching a milestone of 25,000 plus runs in international matches, and joining the exclusive list of elite batters. He broke Sachin Tendulkar's record to become the fastest batter in international cricket history to score 25K runs, and is the second Indian to achieve the feat after Tendulkar.
