Kanna Lakshminarayana to join TDP on February 23

Guntur: Kanna Lakshminarayana, a senior politician, resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party on February 16 and is reportedly planning to join the Telugu Desam Party. According to sources, Kanna Lakshminarayana held a meeting with his supporters on Sunday and announced that they have expressed interest in joining the TDP. It is said that he will officially join the TDP on February 23 under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu.

Earlier, after announcing his resignation from the BJP, Kanna Lakshminarayana had cited Somu Veerraju, the BJP chief, as the reason for his resignation.
